OUR FEES AND METHODS OF PAYMENT

Doctors In Italy is a private medical center in Rome. Our prices are fixed and the same for all patients, any day of the week, including weekends, and holidays. You will be required to settle all medical fees after each consultation. The final bill depends on the services you require.

  • Prescription refill: Eur 50
  • Certificate fit-to-fly or fit-to-work: Eur 80
  • General Practitioner consultation: Eur 100
  • Specialist consultation: Eur 150
  • House/Hotel visit by General Practitioner: Eur 150
  • House/Hotel visit by Specialist: Eur 200
  • Ultrasound: between Eur 80 and Eur 200 (depending on the type of procedure)
  • Ultrasound at home/hotel: price depends on procedure, starting from Eur 230

The cost of a medical consultation with an English-speaking doctor, does NOT include additional procedures which may or may not be required, such as lab analyses, rapid tests (e.g. Rapid Strep Test, Mono Test) and diagnostic imaging.

We accept payment with cash, debit cards, credit cards (including American Express), and PayPal. We also accept Guarantee Of Payment issued by reputable insurance providers.

INSURED PATIENTS

Doctors in Italy has agreed contractual rates with several health insurance companies: Allianz Worldwide CareCISI (Cultural Insurance Services International), Europ Assistance CMN (Corporate Medical Network), GVA (Global Voyager Assistance), Healix, Generali Worldwide, GBG/Tiecare International and AIG/Travelguard. If you are insured under these companies, remember to bring your insurance information and card along with a valid ID. Whenever possible, we will bill your health insurance provider. 

If you are insured under different companies, please be prepared to settle the payment at the time of service. We will provide all necessary documents for you to file a refund claim with your insurance provider. If you have any questions about your policy or what will be reimbursed, please check with your insurance provider before your appointment.
